Louisa May Alcott published her novella "Behind a Mask or a Woman's Power" under the pseudonym A.M. Barnard in 1866.  It is a story of romance and sexual intrigue with a markedly different tone than Alcott's more well-known works.

These face masks are 100% premium cotton, with a pocket for a filter and are machine washable.  They have pleats to contour to your face, a metal insert at the nose for a close fit, two elastic bands that wrap around your neck and head, and tubular elastic ear loops for a comfortable fit. The fabric has a lovely subtle tonal quality. The fabric is printed and the masks sewn at a small factory in Compton, California.

The Story House is an independent, bookstore for children and young adults located in Rockville Town Center and in a renovated trolley bus.  The Story House trolley travels throughout the DC area.
